Indian Athletics refers to track and field sports in India, including running, jumping, and throwing events. These sports are governed by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).

The AFI is the official governing body for athletics in India. It was established in 1946 and is recognized by the Indian Olympic Association. It organizes national championships and selects athletes for international competitions.

Neeraj Chopra is a javelin throw athlete from India. He made history by winning India’s first Olympic gold medal in athletics at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
